SEA KREW · YOUR FIRST SURF LESSON, STEP BY STEP
What a first day in the water actually looks like — a real session with a Sea Krew coach, step by step.
STEP 1 · BEFORE THE WATER
Ocean safety, how waves break, where to stand and how to fall. Your coach reads the conditions and picks the calmest beach for the day.
STEP 2 · DRY RUN
Lie down, paddle, push, feet. You repeat it on the sand until it feels automatic — before a single wave.
STEP 3 · INTO THE WATER
Waist-deep, soft-top board, coach right beside you. The broken waves close to shore are where every surfer starts — and where your first rides happen.
STEP 4 · FIRST RIDES
The first rides are wobbly. That is normal. Your coach gives the push at the right moment and one correction at a time — nothing more.
STEP 5 · IT CLICKS
Most beginners ride whitewater waves on their feet in the first session. No guarantees — it is the ocean — but this is how it usually goes.
