STEP 1 · ON THE SAND
Twenty minutes before the water: reading the waves, where to paddle out, how to fall, and the rip current rules. Nobody goes in without this.
STEP 2 · IN THE WATER
Your coach stays beside you, positioning the board and calling the wave.
STEP 3 · THE POP-UP
Not a promise, a pattern. With the right board, the right wave and someone pushing at the right second, standing up happens faster than people expect.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Board and wetsuit are included. Photos are included in surf camps and 4-lesson packages. English, Portuguese and Spanish spoken.
WHERE THE LESSON HAPPENS
Ericeira or Santa Cruz, depending on swell, tide and wind. We never force a beach that does not work for your level on the day.
